Sandburg Elementary School Mission :

The mission of Sandburg Elementary School, as a community focused on the needs and dignity of children, is to ensure that all of our students become self-directed learners, to empower them to be productive and successful citizens as they acquire the knowledge, skills, and processes necessary to meet the future challenges in our diverse culture by: providing a safe, clean, nurturing environment, actively challenging and involving learners, meeting individual learning styles, providing a variety of educational experiences and technologies, and involving and valuing the student, the family, the community, and the staff of our school.

Sandburg Elementary School History :

Sandburg School is one of thirteen elementary schools in Community Unit School District 200. There are four middle schools for children in sixth through eighth grade and two high schools. The total student enrollment of the district is over 14,000 students. Students living in the Sandburg attendance area will attend Monroe Middle School and Wheaton-Warrenville North High School.
